Based in The New Forest, Hucropea was formed in 2016 following founder James Humphries' move back to the New Forest. James has a long background in the creative arts, studying at Camberwell School of Arts, London he has installed, fabricated and assisted artists and institutions in London and further afield. He went on to study horticulture at Capel Manor College, London, which has enabled him to combine his love of nature with the visual awareness and attention to detail he learnt at art school, continuing to work with artists in their private residences, photographers and designers as well as developing a small but enterprising business.

With RHS training in both horticulture and aboriculture and all the right paperwork to prove know how to operate tools, machinery and sprayers in a safe, controlled and insured manner, we at Hucropea can confidently cover all aspects of garden and woodland work whether you're an individual needing a one off job or a business seeking a company that can help you with contract services.

We enjoy what we do and take pride in it, working hard to maintain strict environmental guidelines, sourcing locally where possible and recycling everything we can.
